Mantras, or spiritual affirmations, are a way of petitioning the universe (more specifically, your spirit guides) for help.

We’ve all been there at some point or other:

  • January 1: Write your New Year’s resolutions with the best of intentions. This time, you’ll achieve those goals!
  • August 1: Still watching too much tv, still stuck at that mind-numbing job, still haven’t balanced that checkbook (damnit, another overdraft charge?!!), and you haven’t seen the inside of the gym since Jan 2 (the only time you wore the brand new workout clothes you bought while telling yourself that this time would be different).

Whatever you call them–New Year’s resolutions, goals, mantras, or affirmations–they can be incredibly effective when done right.

Occasionally, they seem to work out fine. But, most of the time, they don’t. And either way, there’s no consistency.

How different would it be if you could create affirmations that actually work?

Let’s say you repeat your affirmation every morning: “I have a million dollars in my bank account, and my job is fulfilling beyond my wildest dreams.” You’re determined to make it work.

But at the end of six weeks, you’ve got the bill collectors hounding you, and you’re still stuck in the same old cubicle. What then?

That’s when you start to lose interest. Because when your soul hears you say, “I have a million dollars in my…” It interrupts with, “No you don’t!”

It probably won’t surprise you to learn that 88% of people who set New Year’s resolutions fail.

Why don’t mantras, New Year’s resolutions and affirmations work better than they do?

Almost always, it’s because you just don’t believe they’ll work.

More to the point, your soul doesn’t believe they’ll work. And if your soul is skeptical, how can you really get the energy going to create change?

It’s simple. You need a mantra that rings true. A spiritual affirmation that makes your soul go: “Right! We can make that happen.”

This fundamental truth means that if your mind says one thing, your soul says another, and your actions say something else, you’ll be pulled in three different directions. And if the goals you’re trying to achieve are not in alignment, no matter how much you try to convince yourself you can do it, you won’t manifest results.

Imagine how different things would be if your mind, body, and spirit were all working together to achieve a mutually agreed-upon goal?

As a human, you’re never cast adrift to sink or swim on your journey through the Physical Plane. You are tied to your spirit guides at all times. They are your support team on the other side.

And once you learn how to use them, they’ll help you to achieve the goals that are consistent with your soul’s destiny.

I used mantras to emigrate, find a home and a wife, and get an interview with Oprah. I don’t say that to brag, but to make the point that I used the principles behind spiritual affirmations to achieve my clearly defined goals.

Someone once said to me, “Ainslie, you can manifest the sh*t out of anything!” That’s because I know how to create and use spiritual affirmations, and that they work.

I’ll be teaching all about creating effective mantras and spiritual affirmations in 2018, so stay tuned!
